About Us

The Smartest Bulldog is a free, interactive communication game which promotes knowledge of the history of UGA. We reward the players who demonstrate knowledge, speed, and consistent playing of the game with prizes. The game also allows players to exchange information about themselves as well as form teams with other students, friends, and family members of Georgia Bulldogs fans. Our goal is to learn something, see how we compare with others, and have FUN!

How It Works

Every player can win a prize! All you have to do is win Dawg Bonez for playing and then redeem them whenever you want.

How many Dawg Bonez do you get for:

The UGA Challenge: After you've played you will have the option of taking the UGA Challenge. If you opt to take the UGA Challenge you will be able to wager a portion of the Dawg Bonez you won today (not including any Bonez won by playing for your team) on one extra question from a category of your choosing. If you answer the Challenge Question correctly within 15 seconds you will double the Dawg Bonez that you wagered. However, if you answer the Challenge Question wrong, or if you take more than 15 seconds, you will lose the Dawg Bonez you wagered.

When the Dawg barks: In addition our Dawg barks three times every day, at 11:00 am, 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm. If he barks at you, you win an extra 1,000 Dawg Bonez! He only barks at people who play that day, and only when at least 100 people have played so far that day, so it's important you play every day to be eligible!

If you play 6 times in a week or 25 times in a month, then you are eligible for him to bark at you and if he does you will win an extra 5,000 Dawg Bonez for the week or 20,000 Dawg Bonez for the month! He will only bark if at least 100 different people have played during that period, so it's important you play every day to be eligible!

Referring a Friend: You get 100 Dawg Bonez when you refer a friend and they sign up and play the first time. You get 25 Dawg Bonez each subsequent time they play in the next 60 days.

Leaderboard

We show Leaderboards for students, alum, and fans, which shows the high scores for individual players and teams for today, this week, this month, this year and all time. The purpose of these leaderboards is so you can compare your performance to other players in the same category.

For the purposes of awarding Dawg Bonez to the daily, weekly and monthly winner, we consider only the Overall Leaderboard.

Daily games may be played between Midnight and 12:59 pm (ET).

Weekly winners are calculated according to games played between 12:00 am (ET) Sunday and 11:59 pm (ET) the following Saturday. (In other words, a "week" is considered to be Sunday through the following Saturday.)

All times are measured as Eastern Time.

Individual Players

An individual player's daily score is the number of Dawg Bonez they won that day. Since an individual player may only play once per day, the maximum score they can achieve every day is 60. This is achieved as follows:

In the event two or more players get the same score, the player who finished the game fastest will appear first. In the unlikely event that two or more players get the same score and took the same amount of time, the player who began playing earlier in the day will appear first.

Teams

Teams may have up to 5 players, including the team captain. Each team player will be asked one team question daily. After answering the question you will receive Dawg Bonez which will count towards the total score for your team. Dawg Bonez earned while playing for a team get applied to the individual account of the player who won them. The team's score will be the sum of all the team Dawg Bonez won by the players who played that day. The most Dawg Bonez that any team can accumulate in one day is 25. Click here to create a team.

Each month we award a prize to each of the members of the team that won the most team Dawg Bonez that month.

Prizes

Dawg Bonez are awarded to the first place daily, weekly and monthly winners based on the Overall Leaderboard. Winners are determined by the rules above. We notify winners by e-mail. Winners are announced on the home page as well as in the Leaderboard archives. Players can redeem their Dawg Bonez for prizes which are listed on the Prizes page.

My Account

Each player has their own account which is seen only by them. By clicking the Dawg Bonez tab you can see how many total Dawg Bonez you have. When you click Description you can change information about yourself that others can see. Clicking Team allows you to form a team or, if you are Team Captain, modify the players on your team.
